Well everyone, I have the worst luck with my venture. Seems my son has been watching too many NASCar races and decided daddy needed racing stripes. Instead of painting them on he used my keys. Scratches don't seem to be deep in areas but they are down to sheet metal in spots. Does anyone know a good paint shop in Buffalo, NY area? I tried searching and all I can find are collission shops.

collision & paint and body shops are all the same for the most part.

Can't help you there , I'm just down the Thruway in Syracuse, but you might want to ask around including family, friends, acquaintances about their experiences and who'd they recommend. Many times you find good results using that method. A lot of times people tell you who to stay away from .

My brother lives in Amherst and recommends: Gabe's Collision in Cheektowaga does good work as does Ange's collision in Kenmore. Bitterman's in Clarence is another good choice.

HI and I would like some advice. I am painting a 1997 Police cruiser,(white stock color) into black and silver.(black bottom below window trims, silver upper). OK, I sanded completely, etc... tape..etc.. wipe down...so I tack cloth it..etc..so I put on my first 2 coats, looks good, I put on the final coat of black, and wait 4 hrs then come back out to the car, and the paint has crinkled or spider web look along the trim where the primer meet's the black.
Ive never seen this before, unless I sanded and primered over Acrylic Laquer.. which I think, cant be done. Help...lol
