power door locks

Just wanted to thank whosever thread I read on how to fix inoperable power door lock switches. Pulled up the pass side carpet the other day, cut the electrical tape holding the wire harness together, and voila, there were the blue and white wires just sitting there in their pool of water, unattached to anything besides the cheap tape GM used to "hold" the splices together - come on GM, not even a solderless butt-splice? Just 3 wires twisted together and taped? :wtf:Talk about cost-cutting. Anyway, this was an easy fix thanks to the post(s) on here. Now after a year or so I can unlock the doors without having to shut the van off.

I second that. This forum is great for people who want to know how to fix thier car themselves. I've learned a lot about my truck from this site.

I agree, this forum is almost as good as a mechanics manual, except you can read this one.
