Hi,
This car is the second one I did when I came back into car-modeling.
No, I haven't always done VW's. Sometimes a kit catch my eye and I buy it.
This one is a E320 Fujimi. All I did is :
- Lowering job
- Aoshima's OZ Opera 19'
- Fill the license plate and the hole for the M-B emblem on the hood.
- Open a "mouth" in the front bumper
- Paint the interior yellow in a kind of leather look (oil painting)
This car doesn't nead too much to be beautiful. The yellow interior and the gray body may be weird but I saw this combination in a BMW530D and I felt in love for these colors.
Here it is:

Hi:
"i think u should make the rear lights red"
--> "This car is the second one I did when I came back into car-modeling"
I'm not offensed but nobody's perfect . I was a newb at this time.
"where is the rear license plate"
--> "Fill the license plate and the hole for the M-B emblem on the hood"
The license plate I filled was in the trunk.

Yes, red taillights. Maybe a bit of detailing would help to bring it to life in addition. Overall lookin' good :smoker2: .

Looks great.
However, I hate to repeatit, but the rear lenses could do with a bit of colour. Either red or smoke, I feel. Also, the mesh parts of the grill would do well with a touch of matt black.
Otherwise, a great job:D

That was a BMW thing before the SI even came out. Not sure who did it before BMW though.
Again I really like it. I think the front grill does need to be brought out more though.

It actually looks god with the clear taillights. Ya know, Tamiya desert yellow is a very good match up for tan!

I don’t want to be repetitive but I also vote for the red lights.
In any case I think you have done a real good job, especially having in mind that this is just your second model. Interior colour suits for an executive car.

Thanks for your comments.
OK , OK, seems that the clear tailights were a BIG mistake.
I glued them with wood glue then I'll easily remove them and paint them.
"red upper, clear bottom" sounds good to me, I'll try it this w-e and show you the result.
Update on monday or maybe earlyer ( if I find time to work on ).

C'mon man, don't paint it red just cuz people here don't like it...
If you like it, let it stay. I can't even think of an E55 bieng ricey so the tail lights kinda look good to me ;)

Aaaaaahhhh, I don't know what to do now   :D
Half of my brain shout Paint them red or put some red on it
and the other half shout Let them clear
Ok I've probably an answer!?!
what about: drill some holes behind the tailights ( in the body of the car ), insert some red electronic leds and put the clear tailights on it.
I don't know where to find some little round coloured lenses then the idea of leds could work.
It would look like GTI1800 Evo7.
What do you guys think?

Leave it as it is right and wait for the occasion till you find some red lenses. Maybe if you go to Jabbeke at the end of March, you find them ;)

Now your saying don't do it because you like it how it is there. I don't care about the back lights but in real life I would never ever buy those shitty clears with red bulbs, they look stupid to me.
Anyway, phat Benz man! I got a S600 AMG coming up. Have only done the interior and half the undercarriage & engine so far though. I love Benz's, my neighbour has 2 & a friend with over 14 :ylsuper

Altezzas on a Benz? I say, if you like it clear, keep it that way, these are just our opinions, and all you have to do is make yourself happy, but I have to say Half red on top, half clear on bottom!
