1996 chevy tahoe 5.7. This morning I tried to start it. The motor cranks but wont turn over. Please help it has a new fuel pump that I put in the summer time, new starter (twice in a year)Ive even replaced the fuel pump relay and nothing! My children go to school far away and I have to get it started tonight! PLEASE HELP!!! IT HAS FUEL, SPARK STARTER FLUID, I DONT KNOW!!!I CAN HEAR THE FUEL PUMP ALSO.:uhoh:
I have a remote starter also, I disconnected the alarm to see if it was that but to no avail.

if i were you i would get that alarm and remote start and throw in the trash. disconnect the MAF sensor see if it starts this and the ECT sensor could also cause no start but have fuel spark , you replaced fuel filter i hope....

yes I have replaced the filter, and y should I throw out the remote starter lol, do u think its a problem??? Im gonna try that, TY

Remote starters can cause a no-start problem. It's usually not the system itself, but rather a faulty installation. I saw one vehicle where someone had cut and striped the necessary wires from the ignition switch, put in the one that goes to the remote starter, and TWISTED them together. No solder, not even a crimp connector. Just twisted together and taped.

If you have spark and fuel, it's probably not a remote starter issue.

You mentioned starter fluid... does it run off it or did you just try it? Did you check fuel pressure? If it's a vortec, it MUST be 60-67 PSI. Even slightly lower can cause them not to start.
