center peice question?

does the center peice serve any purpose?
like it a light or is it just a peice for looks?

Unless you got a 90-91 sedan which has the reverse lights built into the center piece, it serves absolutley no purpose at all.

sweet going to take that damn thing off i think it is ugly (when i get a hatch, someday it will happen)

good luck gettin it off, when I painted my tails all red I couldnt get the clip in the middle to budge so I just maked it off.

Another thing to consider is a lot of people get the STD centerpiece, and then paint it to match the car. The STD piece is NOT reflective, its just a flat black panel.

I have an Si and i had the Red center reflector and went to the junkyard and picked up one from a STD hatch and took of the CIVIC logo on it and slapped it on my car and since my car was black it matched pretty nicely!! Here's a pic:

omg dont show me that almost cried if i were you i would of cried that looks nice tho i didnt like the civic in the middle of it
