Hi, I have read through some threads on here and I think I have a problem with either my blower motor or resistor... I started my car and the blower was making almost a gurgling sound and after i turned it off and turned it on it didn't start up at all... after 5 mins of driving i tried it again and it turned on, but i had it on high and was blowing relatively slow... i got on the highway and it seemed to be running pretty good, not 100% but pretty good. but now the problem is getting worste and i am not sure if this could be the motor itself or the resistor. Another question i have is i know i can find the resistor under the passenger side foot rest but what does it look like and is the motor next to the resistor of in a different place?
thanks
thanks

Welcome to AF.
You might want to inspect the blower, could have leaves or a varmit campin out causing it not to operate.
If you resistor is bad it would only blow on HIGH.
Here's a thread that shows you where its located and has a few pics.
Blower Motor & Resistor Removal - 99+ Grand Am (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=665246)
ps- it says Grand am, but its the same as your Alero.
