2.0 to a v6 motor swap

i was wondering if it is possible to swap a 98 ford contour 2.0 w/auto tranny to a 94 contour v6 w/auto tranny, if it is what would i need to replace on the 98 to get it to work, i got lots of time to do this dam layoffs, if anyone knows if the swap is able to be done let me know thanks for the help guys

They didnt make Contours in 1994. Contours were made from 95-00.

Short answer, you have to swap everything. Motor, bellhousing, axles, motor mounts and roll resistors, wiring harnesses, pcm, radiator, etc, etc. I say find yourself a V6 5 speed. Lots more reliable than I4 and ESPECIALLY more reliable than the slushbox automatic.

Both my 96's, zetec atx have well over 200k and there both stock, they are reliable, alot more reliable then the duratec. Not saying the duratec is a bad motor, but when comparing them with the zetec in terms of reliability, the zetec usually wins.
