The wipers on my 2000 Venture won't park, I have read on here about greasig them and bent tabs, I Greased the Cam with White litheum greese and the tab appear to be ok, but I see where the arm that is supposedto catch the tab isn't coming out to touch the tab.. There's also a clip on the arm that i'm not sure is in the correct place,
Can someone advise me on this arm and clip or Better yet does someone have apicture of these??

As with many GM vehicles the wiper motor module acts up. I am not sure if this is your problem.
This problem is usally the intermittant wiper is erratic and wont turn off etc. but may also affect parking?

Mine are doing the exact same thing. The spring loaded arm does not come out far enough to catch the tab. The tab does not appear to be bent. If I push the arm out with a pair of pliers and then turn off the wipers they will park. The "clutch", as I call it, costs about $80 at the dealer.

I looked at them online at advance auto parts abd they were like $45...

The same thing happened on a co-workers 02. They worked only on low and high with no intermittent function and they would not park. The tabs were fine and with some toggling of the switch I could get them to park but only 1 out of 20 attempts. Once I had the motor assembly removed there was a rattle inside the circuit board box. I removed the fasteners to remove the cover and found a rather large resistor had popped.
This is replaceable if you know what you are doing with regards to electronics. It is hard soldiered to the circuit board. If the wipers do not move when turned on this resistor loads up or heats up as a result of excessive snow or ice where the wipers do not move then the resistor pops. You only have to do this a couple of times until this resistor fails. I replaced the entire motor assembly and it work great.
Funny all this stuff as started happening just over the past couple of months as well as a driver side window switch that controlled the passenger side window. It is nickle dime time. Lust last week the 02 sensor threw a P0135 code.

What part name did you look up? I can't seem to find the part listed anywhere, but I may be using the wrong name.
EDIT: Nevermind! I found it at Advance web site! Thanks!!

Autozone here in Dayton was the only parts retailer that carried the replacement assembly. Advanced did not show an application for in store but they could order it. Zone was less expensive not by much.

I never shopped any of the fast food auto parts stores online. Are the prices the same as a counter sale? AZ had one in stock this was in early December 07.
Bet they have to special order it through one of their reman accounts. I find that sometimes in store, no list but they can order, odd.
