you need motor mounts. you can get these ready to go,don't remember the manufacturer but check the web. exhaust, on 2, I used headers and another I used manifolds(also the engine and ECM) from a retired cop caprice and had pipes bent to fit. your transmission won't bolt up,you will need to replace that. if you go with a TBI set up, Painless has a wire kit that works great. if your truck has a brass and copper radiator you can have the core replaced with a 3 row. if you have aluminum core you should get the thickest core (comes as a complete radiator, I think it's 1 1/2") I have done 3 and never had a problem with suspension. good luck and have fun

The transmission for a 1993 4.3 has what Chev calls a 90° pattern on the bell housing. A first generation V-8 will bolt to it though it may be a little lacking in strength.

whoa whoa what up?
I have a 1992 blazer 4x4 with a 400SBC in it TBI intake from a 5.7 and ALL wiring matched from the 4.3 to the 400 and OMG its bad as hell now heres what you need 1.headers are a must if your a good pipe bender if not you will spend tons of money that is not needed i personally ran manifolds from a SBC v8 from a camaro in it with the crossover pipes works great then i used the motor mounts from a 1990 chevy silverado (doner for FI parts) beautiful installation then 3. Either a custom or home made oilpan mine is home made cut the pan apart from the 4.3 and then welded the back bottem to the 400 pan after hackin it up (no leaks) then i used electric fans much smoother setup kept same ECM for some reason it seems to work wonderful (puzzles me on that one) but yea have fun (oh and trans bolts up perfect) i even kept my A/C and works like a champ OH and i used the 4.3 sepentine system also if your using a 5.7/5.0 intake for TBI you will need to redrill the center intake-head holes diagonal insted of vertical

You haven't had a 2.8 I take it.

I have a 88 S10 Blazer with a 2.8 and i am building a 355 for it. But i was wandering how hard is it it to change spark plugs on it with headers? because if it is a pain i will go with stock camaro manifolds.

You can put in a 1988 to 1995 350 using the original wiring harness.
