Key won't turn door lock.

When I was heading to class earlier today I attempted to open the driver side door with my key, the lock wouldn't budge. I gave up and decided to use the passanger door to unlock my car. This worked perfectly. About an hour and a half later I tried to enter my car again and neither door lock would turn. The trunk lock, however, opened just fine.
Anyone know whats up? I used two different keys to try and open the locks but neither worked. I find it weird that the lock opens fine and then 90 minutes later it doesnt.

I don't know if they still sell it but my father used to use graphite powder to lubricate all the locks, whether it was on a car or the house. It worked great and never had a problem with the locks. They used to sell it in a small plastic bottle you could squeeze into the lock to distribute the powder.
