What's up? Nobody acknowledges my existence in the 4g forum anymore because I no longer own a crx. Too bad. An EP3 may be in the future for me though. I'm pretty close to convincing the wife that the quality build of the 04-05 Civic Si is better than VW or any other "hot hatch". I do like some other makes and models but there are some things that just don't seem logical. For example, what's the deal with the new xD's gauges. The speedo goes clockwise as normal but the tach is on the other side of the circle and goes counterclockwise. That would totally screw me up. Also, why do makes like the Mazda3 and the RSX-S have the speedometer hit 60 at like 1/4 of the way up. So the speedo goes to 160 but tops out at 120.. that makes sense. Maybe I'm just practical :lol:

cuz every 16 year old wants to brag about his car goin to "160" cuz thats what it says on the dash...

My wife's vw says it'll do 160 but with those bald-ass kumhos I'd be hesitant to try for 80mph :lol:
(at least it goes all the way around the the half circle...haha)

My speedo goes to 150 but the fastest I ever got my car was about 132 when I had the stock steelies. Who knows how accurate the speedo is at those speeds. I suspect I hit abour 127

dont know about streaming music, but there are other "peer to peer" programs out there that you could use

yeah i know limewire, but i tried it and there are too many viruses.

limewire offers pro and basic.. basic is free, and using basic, you can download the hack for pro.

It's all a matter of common sense. Keep a virus scanner up and you won't have problems. I run limewire on my mac and my pc and have never had a lick of trouble.

I don't even know what the benefits are for pro. I guess I may investigate and download it. But I agree, run virus scan and you should be alright. I run AVG for free and nothing has corrupted me *knock on wood*. My mom pays for McAfee and doesn't have any file sharing, yet something has gotten through that cripled her IE7 and basically rendered her computer useless.

you guys should give torrents a try if limewire doesnt work out for you..i run AVG free, limewire basic, and bit-torrent..you can download whole albums and discographys.

yeah, you download it as a "torrent" which basically allows to you to pause, resume as you want. then when its finished it unpacks itself into the actual file extension it was supposed to be

my friend does all that stuff, he gets movies and all sorts of shit.

I ususally get ISO's for games... as long as you have a good anti virus they shouldnt be a problem

download bit-torrent (google) then just go to sites like thepiratebay.org or torrentspy and you can search for anything. i just type in the artists name then usually itll bring one up with every album that person has made..its efficient lol

so there's a good amount of older stuff on bit torrents? That's what I'm usually looking for. New shit sucks.

dude theres a torrent on there for the top 100 albums of rock and roll all time on there..youll find toons of old stuff. ive gotten beatles, zeppelin, floyds, radiohead, jurassic five, deltron, anything thats been out and worth hearing is probly on there..so like in 1 torrent i got all twelve of zeppelins albums..shaaazaaammmmm!!!

Just wanted to say that the shocker is good for more than one thing.... its good for getting me out of a ticket tonight!! i have 2 "shocker" stickers on my rear glass, one on each side. Well today I went autozone to get some washer fluid... well i was leaving and had to make a U-Turn to head home... Im sure you can see where this is going... road was empty cuz the other side had a red light a little up the road.... so i started to make the turn and gave her a quick clutch kick... get her sideways a bit and i must say, wasnt a bad drift at all... im always amazed on how stable my car is sideways.... Anyways... a cop was first in line at the red light and saw everything...

Anyways, got pulled over and he asked if i knew why he pulled me over... and i couldnt lie, i said "yes sir" and he asked why then? I said i "got into it a little too hard making the turn" and he said, "exactly, looked like you knew what you were doing though" He went back to his car with my Info and quickly came back and asked... "this is yours?? is it really an 04? because it looks so much nicer than i thought an 04 would..." then he said something that caught me off guard... "Im not going to even give you a warning because I like that sticker you have on your rear window" I laughed and said thanks and he asked if i could get him one... before i had a chance to say that i could, he changed his mind cuz "his wife would have his balls" gave me back my stuff and drove off...
