2003 MPV with P0171, P0174 codes on check engine scan.
Read about the PCV hose recall, and issue and decided to take a look.
Took a digital camera and slid it in behind the engine and snapped a few pics. Very clear shot of PCV hose (at elbow) on the back of the intake (top of engine just under the wipers and cowl...well, it had a visible tear, allowing air in, and bad fuel air trouble.
Symptons were a lurching engine at stops, not related to transmission, and rough idle.
Well, the reapir took around 2 hours, only because I didn't want to take the whole car apart and it was hard to get a wrench on the compression ring on the old hose.
The replacement hose was $88 at dealership and was real easy to get on. I did take away the MAF part of the air hose for better vision, and cleanance to see what I was doing. I took off other misc stuff to be able to get my arms in there especially at the back. Not much room to work, but it is doable without having to take the intake off, or the wiper cowl, etc....
Codes are gone, and the problem is too.

I will look for the pictures tonight.... I couldn't see the hose from the front or sides. I had to jam the camera in there to take a picture to see the hole...
