HELLO TO ALL,

I OWN THE ABOVE, SHE HAS 165,000+ MILES. SO FAR NO MAJOR REPAIR INCIDENTS(UPPER PLENUM REPLACED AT 100,000K),EXCEPTIONS BEING NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, BRAKES, WATER PUMP, FUEL PUMP, BELT, etc.

I AM A STRICT CONSTUCTIONIST AS IT APPLIES TO PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE IN ALL THINGS.

WITH THE MILEAGE AND AGE OF THIS AUTOMOBILE DO ANY OF YOU FEEL IT
IS WISE TO REPLACE THE LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD AND OTHER REQUIRED PARTS BEFORE THEY BEGIN TO CAUSE TROUBLE? AT THIS MILEAGE WHILE DOING THE ABOVE SHOULD THE HEAD GASKETS BE REPLACED?

ALSO THIS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HAVE NO OIL LEAKS, ONLY VERY SLIGHT WICKING, SEEPAGE NOTHING DRIPPING.

ANY AND ALL ADVICE WOULD BE WELCOMED.

REGARDS,
FISH96

Personally I believe in if it ain't broke don't fix it. You could have more problems than you have now if you start tearing into the engine. I would leave it alone and if you start having issues then fix what needs to be fixed. The maintenance you have done is keeping the engine well maintained and there is no need to tear it down at the present time.
