I have started this kit last night, Man i love the new Dehydrator... from last night i was able to put 3 coats of paint and then still be able to Polish :D
I am going to put the decals on and then clear coat it!

Are you planning to spray clear over the windows and headlights? Or is that just a mock-up? Chances are you'll muck-up your clear parts if you try to clear coat over them.

I was going to clearcoat with the clear parts on. Had no idea it was a bad idea?
My plan was to do the little detailing, add the decals and then clearcoat.

I would definitely remove the clear parts, or atleast mask over them before spraying clear. You'll get a foggy look at best if you paint over clear parts with most clears.

That's a great looking body you've got there! And from what you describe, sounds like I gotta find myself a dehydrator too :grinyes: .
Sorry to semi-hijack this thread, but does anyone have suggestions for sealing decals that go on clear parts then (windscreens)? Not sure what to do with my 1:12 bike windscreen that has decals...

you could try diping the clear parts with decals on them in future floor wax.
