What do you guys think of side markers? I bought some last year and i haven't put them on yet. But now I don't know if I really want to put a hole in my fender. They are clear and pretty much flush with the car. What yal think?:)

I don't think I know of that car even being in saskatoon. But then again i haven't been here to long. I might actually be in edmonton or Calgary by the summer. I come to Calgary atleast once a month though my girlfriend lives there! I have a bodykit to put on too. I have to wait though because i am exchanging it cause they sent me the wrong one.

i love my sidemarkers.....oh wait, i have to have them.....jdm corners don't have an amber turn signal :flipa:

i used to have clear ones. only reason i didn't like them is they broke right quick. so far, the jdm's have held up

yikes. not long. i would say less than 6 months. i was lucky though. when each one fell off, the car was in the driveway. the little tabs that hold the lense in would break off. i super glued the bastards in. when they fell off again....i gave up ;)

I did the factory Honda JDM side markers on my 91 Si.
I personally love side markers. They make changing lanes on the highway alot safer as well. I don't car for the aftermarket versions, cause they tend to break like Ami said. I say go for it.

I can totally agree with you on this one, besides the fact that they look good they makes the roads safer, at least I feel that. When im going down the highway and its a 3 lane road and theres me on one side and another car on the other and I want to merge into the middle, I always wonder if hes going to do the same thing. It also lets people beside you know your intention.

Yea, deffinatly get the sidemarkers, i think they look really nice, if you are going for a JDM look, get the amber ones and get amber corners and bumpers, if you have clear corners, get the clear sidemarkers..... or else it will look crappy.....

I had mine hooked up to a constant light. So everytime my car was on, so were they. I melted the plastic housing on them in less than 6 months. I bought a way better set, and am going to hook them upto my signal lights so they dont fry as fast.

I havent had a problem yet on them falling apart. So they still look cosmeticly perfect, they just dont light up :D

LEIGH - I might actually, I'm starting the bodywork once this weather warms up. I'm shaving the moldings, rear wiper, and antenna hole.
But i know i'm going to need a extra set of hands when i mount the kit. I got your number so i'll give you a shout when the time comes.
I saw your ride parked at Superstore, where did you end up finding the new dash and door panels?

Two of my friends have the same sidemarkers I do on their Eclipses. They have them hooked up to their park lights but they put hyper white bulbs in them and they seem to be doing alright! Are there double filliment bulbs that will fit? :licker:

I don't know for sure but don't quote me on this. I think that a dual filiment bulb would be too big for a sidemarker. But I could be wrong
