good amp for alpine type r speakers

what is a good amp for 2 6x9 alpine type r speakers and 2 6.5 type r speakers...they both put 300 rms...would i need a two channel amp or what? just looking for advice.

I think you're looking at the wrong numbers for RMS, the 6.5s take 100 RMS, and the 6x9s are the same I believe. 300 watts is the max those things will handle in a short burst. For you, I'd reccomend that you go for a decent 4 channel putting out ~75+ watts RMS.

speakers don't put out power, they dissipate it.

The best amp would be a 4 channel amp with say 50-75 watts RMS/ch

If you want to stick with Alpine stuff, then that amp should do you nicely.
