Cause of oil leak

:2cents: My 1993 Econoline van is leaking oil from oil pan area. I recently drove over a pile of snow that was put in front of my van in my driveway as a joke. Do you think this could be the cause of my leak? Or was it probably leaking before. I am thinking about legal action against the jokester. Do I have a case?

It is probably the gasket between the oil pan and the engien block that is bad. As to what caused it to start leaking i have no idea.

I'd start by checking to see if the bolts are tight. Do you have a case? Are you serious or just way to much time on your hands?
