RX7 Turbo 2nd Gen, Convertable

My alternator belt has snapped. Engine turned off as soon as it happened.

Can anyone tell me if that causes any damage to engine or is it a straight replacement.?. Also please give rough estimate of mechanic time and cost to replace as I have the new belt...

Nothing to worry about. Just put the belt on youself. Very easy to do just make sure it is tight. Should start up fine if you battery still has juice.
