I have a 2002 Passat Wagon, 4Motion. It needs power steering fluid. I THINK I've identified the proper receptacle in the engine --- in the right front of the engine, it has a green cap on it. But I don't want to find out the hard way that I was wrong. I would appreciate it if someone could either confirm this or correct me.
Thanks very much.

Now good luck finding the correct fluid. I finally found it at a Napa.

the correct fluid is only found at vw. It is a mineral based synthetic power steering fluid. You may be able to find it at a aftermarket european shop (pentosyn fluid) but napa does not sell it where I am.

Ya, that is what I got. It isn't cheap either! No one tell you about how much the coolant or the power steering fluid will cost when you buy the vehicle!
