keyless remote problems

The keyless remotes, which unlock and lock the van, still work when i replaced the batteries, but i can't seem to get the lights to blink and horn to sound to confirm when i have remotely locked it. The panic button works and sounds the horn perfectly. 2003 Ody EX

Advice?

u need to reprogram it everytime you take the batteries out im pretty sure theres a procedure that was mentioned a couple of times try the af search feature
