Well
I have succeeded in joining the latest craze of wrecking the 4th gens. Last night, I plowed the 88 hatch over a curb. Kinda sucks. No, it sucks bad. Tore up the WW front bumper and got to the crossmember. The motor is unscathed. So, the driver side wheel is back against the fender. Looks like it could use some frame straightening and new suspension in the front. Anyway, long story short, I'm just tryin to recoop some money out of it. I hope to get around $800 for it. The rest of the WW kit is undamaged, the rest of the car is in great shape, the motor runs like a dream (weak) and is aD15 with DPFI. It's stock. The interior is ok, nice but tan. Um, what do you guys and gals think? Is it worth $800? Any takers? Thanks and sorry for messing up a nice 4th gen. Now, I have to drive my 91 Si (darn). Was hoping to paint it and do the suspension before I started driving it. Shit happens. Learn my lesson and move on.

You probably broke your radius rod, thats why your wheel is pushed back.

i would figure out what is wrong for sure before you ditch it. seriously. might be cheaper to fix than to get another hatch

sorry you wrecked :(

the radius rod goes from the front crossmember to the lower control arm? If so, that is bent. I can't see where anything else is broken, the upper control arm looks a lil tweaked. The front area (radiator support?) is pretty bent up ad the actual front crossmember is bent. Sucks. As far as buying another...I already have a 91 Si with a Y8 I dropped in aout 3 weeks ago. I was gonna sell the white one, and basically upgrade. But, now I'm trying to re-coop some money from the white one. I will check it out though more thoroughly but I think right now my best option for me is to re-coop some dough. Lessons learned.

I'm located in northwest florida. Because I'm graduating college and also have the 91 Si, I think I am gonna just get what I can from it and try to pay off my credit card. Like I said, the motor is Purrrrrfect (D15 DPFI) and all it needs is a new crossmember and probably SOME front suspension pieces. It's not terribly bad but does need some straightening out. If anyone is interested, let me know. $800 includes everything; WW full fit w/ midwing. Anyone know how easy it is to switch glass to another car? the white car has 20% tinted windows and the 91 doesn't. Figured I might be able to save some money. Let me know whats up before I start messing around w/ it.

How about this...you buy the kit for $800 and I just throw in the rest of the car for free? Sounds like an awesome deal if I were on the buying end.:flipa:

Ok, I just sent Ami a load of JPGs to post for me. Notice the crossmember is bent, the radius rod is bent and the axle sits back. I believe with the crossmember replaced and a new radius rod, it will straighten out. The springs and camber kit are MINE!! The radiator looks twisted but is not leaking at all. he motor did not move and runs fine (no smoke). The drivers tire sits back against the fender but no damage to the fender. The hood has a slight misalignment to the fender, very slight. The side skirt on the pass. side is just chipped paint. The front end is gone (who knows, maybe someone has magic wand). I want $800 for the car w/kit, $500 w/o kit. Don't jerk these prices because they are really low. I want $300 for theremainder of the kit which includes side skirts, door caps, rear bumper and midwing.
