HDR Car shots...

Wondered if any others here have played with HDR with their photos? It really does some cool stuff with reflections and shadows.
I am using a Canon Rebel XTi and shooting in RAW format. This allows me to change the exposure settings later for use in HDR.

Anyway, here are a couple from a recent car show in Long Beach Cal. The last photo shows the untouched image without the HDR.
Cheers...

If you shoot in RAW and then change your exposures simply using the RAW Dialog, you aren't getting a true HDR image. The HDR comes from having the data from several exposures. When you change an exposure in RAW format, you still only have the information in the original image. It still works to create an HDR "effect" but if you want true HDR, set up a tripod for your shoot and expose 5 or more exposures. Since you're shooting autos, a tripod for a shoot wouldn't be too hard to come by. Nice shots.
