Tokyo Extreme Racer 0 question

Ok so beat all the 13 devils & the zodiac. Now all I have to do is beat all the wanders, but why in hell cant i race them. They all cancel outa the battle....A few would race we when i got in front of them but most wont!

How do I race them??

Some wanderers will only race you if you have a certain car, license plate number, certain # of miles etc. Here is a link w/ all the requirements you need inorder to race certain wanderers.

hahaha, i finished the game, the second last car is a Mazda RX-3, not very fast but love the look.

Well i can say this, the last car is so fast when you complete all the best mods to it, well actually the fastest any car can go in the game 424km/h, but i brought the last car to see what it was like, and it is so light that it gained the speed upto 424km/h in about 16seconds. Well worth the buy, but you better make sure you have a few million dollars left over to buy it, it isnt cheap to modify!

I have a Tokyo Extreme Racer 2, no ZERO...:( :(

im guessing you are using dreamcast, coz i havnt yet seen number 2 for ps2. I used a R33 GTR Skyline for most of the time, but the last car is a Nissan Datsun 240z, it is a good car. but im not sure bout TXR 2.

i have an r32 that i use

and i forgot to save before buying and putting 300,000+ dollars into a viper i cant even drive the damn thing it just burns out all the way to 6th gear and you wiggle it a little and you lose it

the viper i have is like 1100HP, has no handling at all, must be used in a straight line, it never stops spinning the tires either.

yeah same with me. the only car i use is the Speed Kings Burstspeed Skyline. it has like 800 Hp but gets the job done. ive only been smoked like 2 or three times with it, because of engine wear. you guys knew that, right? when you are in a stage racing people, after a while your car will get slower and slower. just quit, go to parts, equip a different engine kit, then go back to your best one, voila! new engine, $0.

you don't need to equip anything.
just leave the track and go right back again.
new day = fixed engine

No need to even do that....as soon as you leave the road and got to the garage everything is fixed....
Also , the Burstspeed Skyline can get up to 1258 Hp......just let the game cruise for a while in autopilot mode.....once you get around 1500 miles on the car..all the engine upgrades should be available. My thing to do was to let the car cruise by itself all night while I was sleeping , next morning I would do upgrades.:alien2:
The Viper is EZ to control , you just have to set up the suspension properly , I also set all the gears LOW and the final drive HIGH , this seems to get rid of the wheel-spin by about 4th gear..:bandit:
Pretty much every "A" car I have , can do the games speed limit , which is 260 MPH.....

Fastest car is that 240Z thing , that the last guy you can beat drives....that thing is totally insane:alien: :alien2: :alien: :alien2:

I have that car.... 1104 Hp all tuned out .... hits 263 mph in less than 10 seconds....:D :D :D

The 240Z Kai is by far the best car, even just lightly tuned at ~650bhp it blows the doors off most things. Such cars actually exist, they have Skyline GT-R RB26DETT engine swaps. On Auto Modellista I built one and the performance is astonishing with a stock 280bhp compared to a normal 240Z engine tuned to 320bhp. :D BTW, I tried the 1500 miles trick on TXR0, but the engine upgrades didn't become unlocked. Anyone have any idea why? I have an idea that it was because I did it before I unlocked all of the other engine mods, only up to level 5 or similar. I forget, it was a long time ago, I haven't played the game in months. :(

I know certain parts can only be won by racing the gang leaders and the area champs (they appear after you beat the gang leaders) But engine and exhaust parts should be available just by cruising.....
I've played the game thru , in its entirety , 6 times , and its always been the same...BUT at first I try to race as many people as I can , before I start getting beat consistently , with the maximum mods that are available at first....:bandit:
