Hi everyone, I have a 1995 Cavalier. Recently my DRL indicator started flashing (and continues to flash) as soon as I start the car & release the emergancy break. My head light (both high & low beam) works fine. Only thing that doesn't work is the DRL's when I am driving. I am assuming this is probarbly a blown relay or faulty wire because all the lights work. Could some please confirm my reasoning & second I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me where to locate the DRL relay as it is NOT in the fuse box like in the later models.
thanks

for your 95 cut that tan wire going into your dash cluster.

For 96-99 you cut the smaller blue wire. (Cavalier = pin B8 Sunfire = pin B7)
.... and just kill your DRL's all together.

I got a 1998 cav. I, unlike yourself have a relay in the fuse box and they say there is a DRL moduale located under the battery. Have fun tryin to get at that biotch. I got a "PIT" at my work and even underneath still looks like it could be a difficult task.

Why are you suggesting cutting wires for the dash? Are you retarded or something? If it's flashing, it's doing it for a reason... maybe try and find out why.
It's probably either a bad bulb or a problem with the headlight harness.
Cutting wires is like having a strange sound coming from your car and turning the stereo up so you can't hear it.
