Idle Problem - Sentra SE 01

Hi Guys good morning, since I got my new starter installed the idle on the car has been doing something weird that wasn't doing before. I know isn't because of the starter, but maybe a leak on one of the hoses that are close to the brake fluid tank. When I'm driving and I getting close to a stop sign or red light I put my car on neutral to make a ful stop (manual transmission 4 speed) and the rpm arrow go down 2500...1000....till...500..then there is when it comes up to 900 again (which is the regular rpm idle. Normally it should stay at 900 (I guess). It doesn't do that everytime I put my car on neutral but most of the time it does that....It feels that the car is going to die and then it just comes back to the regular idle without not problem...but I know it wasn't doing that before.....if you would like I can record a video to show u what's going on jeje...

Thank guys...have a nice super tuesday.

After checking a few forums, I'm going to clean the battery connections first. I was thinking about the air filter too..maybe clean the throttle body too.

go to b15 sentra.net and look search for "idle air re-learn" and it should fix your problem, it could mean your idle air control valve is going out as well if your ecu has to correct for it, when you disconnect the battery it loses the memory of how much to correct for it and now it runs like poop

depends on what your doing when the car stumbles. vacuum assisted brakes mean that if you have a vacuum leak on the one hose by the brake fluid reservoir, your brakes will feel harder to operate and seem like they dont want to stop as fast. do the idle relearn first and see if that helps. also, i would see if you can get your hands on a new MAFS or find someone who knows how to clean one without wrecking it.
