looking for help/advice

looking at buying a 1st gen escort. tis a 5 speed already. wondering how hard the cosworth swap would be or if it can even be done. i'm talking AWD and everything please help.

They say nothing is impossible, but it would be close to do those kinds of modifications to a 1st generation Escort. I know there are Cosworth modifications done on Escorts made in Great Britain, but none for here in the states. I think it would be easier and much less costly to buy a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger with the 260 V8 if you want a small car that will go like a banshee.
