Although I didn't get to see it, someone told me not long ago there was someone on the news that they had rolled over the odometer on their vehicle and it was a Chevy. They also said it was a small truck. I wonder if it was an S10? Does anyone know anything else about it? Thanks. :)

Hmmm. Well, if a Silverado did it, at least we know Chevy is good. That may have been the one I was told about. I figured a Volkwagon would have also made it. :D

I've got about 216'000 on my 1990 model. I would try to go for 300'000 if gas weren't so high. I would air the tires up, and get on the highway and just drive back and forth between towns, whichever route had the least amount of red lights or stops. :)
Got an 02 Camry with 66'000, so maybe I'll try and hit it with it.

Get this... My dad had an old 85-86-87 somewhere in there. Ford Escort. He used it drive back and forth from work for 20+ years. It was maybe a 100mile round trip.
He got about 416k miles on it..
What finally took it out though. I was 18 He was driving when it was slighly icey. The car slid, and hit an embankment going about 45mph on to an interstate onramp. Torqued the frame. So he bought a Saturn :)
Sold the Escort for $300 for some dude he works with for parts.. That car was a piece.
right now, my 97 s10 has 150k on it :) rebuilt at 119 :(
my dads a wiz at cars. He's acutally a diesel mechanic for Union Pacific Railroad. Everytime I make it back home we do some work on my truck.
