Hey guys, 1st post here, thanks for having me aboard. Here's my question...i have an opportunity to grab a 92 4runner with a shot automatic transmission for not too much at all. how feasible would it be to replace it with a manual? ain't much of a gearhead myself, so i'm not sure what it all entails, or how much it might run, but i'm seriously considering it. no matter how much care i take of an automatic, they wanna start some drama, and manuals just seem lower maint/cheaper repair/less hassle. my decision'll be based on user input (very knowledgeable folks on here), so i'd appreciate anything offered. cheers in advance.

You'd need a V6 tranny and t-case, pedal set, MC and SC and lines, clutch set, and flywheel (of the top of my head, mabe more).

You may have to relocate the x-member and drvshft lengths may have to be dealt with. Also may have to fake out the auto trannys ECM.
