So i purchased a Re-manufactured starter from the local parts store and installed it. Now that its installed, it sounds like the starter gear isn't meshing properly w\ the Flex plate. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Ill be replacing the starter again when i get a chance, hopefully that fixes the issue. (The previous Starter never made that sound) ... :banghead:

So i swapped the starter AGAIN :frown: , And now it does not grind. So 1 out 3 Starters from Auto Zone does work properly. So the starter still makes a "Click" sound, which could be caused by a low battery or high resistance:runaround:. Ill now try to replace the battery and go from there.

So I replaced the battery, and i still get the click. Now ill have to check for voltage drop... there are many connections, so ill just install a push button start!

Make sure the (+) battery connection is making full contact, also make sure there is no corrosion to the (+) connector. It may be as simple as that; as far as the clicking noise.
