Change oil light

I have a 97 Chev Lumina Sedan, with a 3.1l v6

Can someone tell me how to turn off the change oil light?

turn key to on without starting, pump gas pedal 3 times to floor within 5 seconds or so and should do it....unless i am off on the model year...brain fart time...sorry.

If the above will not work take of neg. battery cable for five mins, of course you will have to reset radio and clock but the 3 times in five seconds is right.
