im about to buy a 79 z28 that i found in my area...the man is asking 2800 but he's willing to knock off the price of switching the title getting the inspection and the license plates...its a running car the only problems are the left turn signal doesnt blink it just comes on and the air conditioning is unhooked...i also need to find a front spoiler for it...its a 350 out of wut that man says was an 86 vehicle...the man that owned it before the man im buying it from did a 4 speed to turbo 350 auto switch but left the clutch in and all the linkages in case the man wanted to swap it back...all the rust except a little around the door handles and a few spots around windows is fixed but none of it is anything to be worried about...I'm really excited about this forum and buying this car so any information you guys can hit me with will be very appreciated

the more original the better.
You can do many things to these older cars but the older I get the more I find that taking something like this and turning it back to factory is well worth the effort.
I've got a 84 Z28 camaro I am restoreing, It will be 30 in 6 more years and that will classify it as a clasic and that is when the price realy goes up.
One to restore and one to drive, Keep that thought in mind.
Right now parts for these cars are still available dime a dozzen and there worth the investment.
I payed 1500 , 9 years ago. Bought it from some kid going into the service.
right place, right time steel of a deal.
