01 Oddyssey Transmission fluid change?

So I don't have to go out in the freezing cold and get under the van, can anyone tell me if this vehicle has a pan or a plug?

im pretty sure that all hondas have a plug that takes a 3\8ths ratchet

Yep, the Honda 5spd auto should have a 3/8" square drive drain plug and I believe a 17mm hex head fill plug on top of the case.

I found out the vehicle got a new transmission 500 miles before I bought it YES!!!! No need to worry about a fluid change for a while. THanks anyway guys

Sweet deal! I'd still do a drain/fill cycle or two in a few months just to purge any break-in debris that *might* be present. Honda didn't officially add an external filter until 2002. Check to see if they added an inline filter on the cooler return line on yours. They should have.
