What do you think about the ball-bearing turbos from HKS? Are they worth the money?
Any better turbos?

from what i hear the hks turbos are made using garrett parts and are excellent.

The price is not worth it at all.

HKS makes pretty strong turbos and they are pretty reliable...as for worth the price? That's your own call. I'm currently ordering an HKS turbo but it is because no other company makes a variant for what I want. If you can find another company that makes solid turbos that fit your needs more than likely they will be a bit cheaper...

I asked Turbonetics the difference between a ball-bearing turbo and their ceramic turbo. The ceramic is the way to go if you want it to last longer. Personally, if you are spending the thousands to get the turbo, why not spend a few hundred more and get a better one?? Anyways, they also said they have seen well maintained turbos last upwards of 120,000 miles.

I am planning on doing a turbo for an Acura RSX. The only thing is I don't know what else I need to get for th internals so it can support an output of an even 300hp at the wheels. Any info. is helpful thanks.

if you're gonna go for something that expensive you might as well just get a precision t4 60-1. Not near the cost, fully spooled at 4.5k rpm and can produce up to around 600+whp

if your running an rsx type s (k20A2) stock compression ratios are 11.1 (i believe) on stock internals youll only be able to put out 4 to 5 psi safely i would get lower compression pistons and rods to back it up
