I have a 2000 Bravada with 44,000 miles on it. When the temperature outside gets below 10 degrees it won't start. It cranks and cranks but acts like it is not firing. It did it the other day when it was -13 degrees. I tried to start it at 7:00 in the morning. The sun came out and was shining on the car all day at 5:30 that night I tried to start it and it popped right off and ran fine. When it does start and you warm it up it starts just fine it seems when it sets for 12 hours or more and it gets cold it has problems. No lights are flashing on the dash. Any ideas would really help.
Thanks old mech

Wow, that's interesting, do you think the 2nd switch turn signals something or just make better contact inside the switch?

I'm not sure unless it recycles everything. After I started it warmed it up took it down and filled it up with gas and then took it on a little road trip ran great and had no problems. I shut it off and it started right back up the first turn. It is supposed to get down to 2 degrees tonight. I guess I will find out tomorrow morning.

fuel pump gets cycled on off twice when you do that. next time you have the no start condition check for fuel pressure before doing the key cycle again.
