Well, I'm coming close to getting my first car, and I've always like the Yukon and the Tahoe. For any models from 1998-2003, I know I can get a good deal, and I want to know what the owners think about it.

- It is V8, so is it very thirst for fuel?
- Is it hard to get around in and park?
- Are there lots of problems with the car?
- Can it work well in snow and cold?
- Do the yearly maintenance repairs cost lots?

etc.

and any sort of comments of whether this vehicle is worth purchasing.

It has similar gas mileage to V6 Blazers and Jimmys, so I dont know what to think. The Jimmy is smaller, and easier to get a hold of, and Jeep Liberty is also a cheap, and newer car I can get, but I want to know about what the owners think about this one.

Thanks

Andrej

Congratulations on your first car! I have a 2003 Yukon that I bought with 93,000 miles on it and I have had almost no problems. It is extremely dependable in snow and even on ice as I found out earlier this week. I drive approx. 20K per year for work plus my own personal stuff and I average about 16.5-18 MPG with CITY/HWY combined. My average oil change is every 4500 miles and costs me about $40. Other than routine maintenance, i have nothing to report bad. Parking is a snap... the Yukons and Tahoe corner great for a large SUV. Also, these things are big enough that you'll feel safe on the road. I hope this helps you out!! :licka: :grinyes:

I have a better understanding of the Yukon now, and thanks for the detail you put.
