help! i need shops that install (pasadena)

A couple things here: I got an underbody neon kit with a wireless remote and a switch that is suposed to be mounted inside the car. First question: Does anyone know of any places that will install it and for how much?
I also have a two gauge pod with an oil temp. and fuel press. gauges, anyone know of any place that will install them and for how much?
I want to get my interior done too, i'm driving a black '98 civic and i want to go with a red/white interior, i saw a price of about $420 in another post for a shop in La Puente i think. I'll go for that kind of price, nothing too expensive. I want a place that will just replace the ugly gray carpet in the interior and also in the trunk. I want to leave the rest how it is, just white/red custom seats with the carpet red too. Anyone got advice on that one?
Finally, the engine, i want to go with an intake system. Don't want to pay more than $125, again, i'm looking for a place to sell and install it?

I'll be eagerly waiting for someone to make a good response to this one...

Well most any performance shops will be able to install/provide you with whatever custom work you want done.
If you want an intake system under $125, you can go with just a short ram, they are fairly cheap. Oh, and I wouldn't pay anyone to install an intake, its very easy to do on your own. :)

ok, now i just need a place to buy stuff around here. I hate buying stuff online and waiting for it. Anyone got any custom shops around Pasadena?

if you're in arcadia, there's a couple shops near you that have some good stuff and do quality work, but I dont know of any shops that sell neons sorry, or I havent seen any when im there. Here's a couple that are pretty good. www.autolinkmotorworks.com its in templecity and they do good work and have about three skilled mechanics on site all the time. www.hookupsimporttek.com is another good shop its in the city of upland they do some good engine swaps too. www.importparts.com is another shop with a lot of stuff and should be near your area. www.autodynamic.com sells stuff too but mostly cosmetic stuff and is in el monte and they sell the stuff for pretty cheap. hey man lay off my boy. He actually helped me out. Thanks man. I live in Arcadia and go to Cal Poly Pomona and the shops he gave me are right down the street from my house. Take your suggestion of making a "ricer board" to the guys in charge here and complain to them. You ain't gotta waste your time if you don't want to. If emadboy200 is the only one the that feels like helping me out then props to him.

Hey if you got any shops in the West Covina/Pomona area those would help too. I plan to get a AEM cold air intake bought and put in this weekend. I think i'm gonna go to the shop in Temple City. If anyone has any ideas or other places i should go to buy one (or what the ideal price is, to make sure i ain't getting ripped off.) it would help out a lot. Thanks.

Ok, for the interior work, $420 to do your front and rear seats in vinyl(maybe side panels too inside?) at Garza's Upulstry (sp?) in La Puente. Should be in the phonebook. For parts and mods, I get my stuff from www.groupbuycenter.com www.autodynamic.com (they are on Sastre st. in El Monte just off Rush st. a few blocks east of Rosemead bl.), Impex Motorsport over in San Garbrial on San Gabrialbl just a half block north of Sprewell Racing, and PitCrew Motorsport in San Gabrial as well, they are also located on San Gabrial bl. just north of the 10 freeway next to Weinershnitzel.

Also look into installing mods yourself if you can help it. The gauges shouldn't be too hard to do yourself. With my car I've installed EVERYTHING I have and have done to/with my car, exception of when I got my Tein coilovers installed, and my sidemarkers installed. Oh yeah, speaking of, for the neons, check out maybe VIP Centers in Monrovia on Myrtle ave. or California Tint on Rosemead bl. just across from Rosemead HS.

This Saturday i'm getting Garza's Upholstry to do my front and back seats, Auto Links Motor Works to get my CAI from and installed (unless someone can give me easy instructions for a dummy), and VIP Center in Glendora to install my underbody neons. I'm gonna have those pics up asap.

p.s. i need ideas for the next mod to my engine. keeping in mind that i have nothing but the stock inside. I know there's a bunch of little things like strut bars and stuff, but again something i will get my money worth would be?

Anywho, no prob. :) Glad I could be of some help. As for engine, I'm not sure what else you could add... Under mine all I have right now is a short ram intake, B&M CommandFlo FPR unit, and fuel pressure gauge, Neuspeed polished strut bar, and a whole sh!t load of blue wire loom and hoses, LOL! :D
