I was wondering if they make eyebrows for our cars? i think it would look cool because i've seen ppl with the hoods with them molded in and i think it looks awesome, and do you know where i can get some? if there not too expensive i might order some :)
oh yea, and just feel like sayin this... i just started to shave my hatch tonight! :) no more ghetto rigged screws holding the filler piece on hehe:)
oh and one more thing cuz i dont feel like making another thread tonight... I'm still gettin a Code 20 and i've rest my ECU already but still get it. how do I fix this? i'm pretty sure i found the ELD (electronic Load detector) its on the passenger side behind the headlight on the inner fender right? so how do I fix it so i can get ridda that code? the car starts and runs perfect so i dunno... please help! thanx guys

Theres a how-to on Ami's site to make eyebrows for our cars....as for the code 20, try cleaning the metal where the bolts screws in and make sure it's getting a good connection....

Hey PhatCX, I think I asked you this before...but how did you sand down your valve cover? What did you use and how long did it take?:p

02-23-2003, 11:04 AM
yea u did,
i used a wire wheel brush first in an electric drill to clean every thing off, then I used 80 grit, 120 then i think 300 grit sandpaper, i used something really fine the last time, i think it was around 300 maybe 250 grit, i dunno how long the whole thing took me cuz i just did like half hour a night and stuff just when ever i got bored, i'm gonna say the whole prep took me maybe like 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get it how i wanted. then wiped it down with a clean rag and then painted it. put 3 to 4 coats on for great coverage, the stuff is really good too, if u get any oil on it, it wipes off really easy, it wont soak in.
