Just got the recall notice last week on my 2002 2.5S with the ECM recall. It never seems to end with this car.. I am looking to get rid of this car by April.

As I mentioned before, this car is not reliable at all.
Expect to have a broken engine mount; a broken intake manifold gasket; a broken distributor; a broken knock sensor; a broken idle air control; a timing chain noise; a PCV valve replacement that costs $300. All of them are notorious for this car and could happen before you hit 100 k.
Plus, this car is not designed to be serviced, it is designed to be junked. You know this if you ever work on it.
Although I like the exterior design of the car, the above things are driving me crazy.

Mine has 96,000 miles on and last year alone, the headgasket, valve cover gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, radiator, catalytic converter were all replaced. I never had problems with this card until it was over 5 yrs old. I bought it Brand New in April 02.
