1994 5.0 4x4 sometimes doesn't start

I have a 94 5.0 4x4 that sometimes it doesn't want to start it will hit then die a few times tyhen start. sometimes it will just hit but not start. when the truck is running up to half throttle it's fine then it acts like it's in a strain or under load. like it doesn't want to open up and run
