Intake Manifold Coolant leak 3.3

I have a 97 GC 157,000 miles with a 3.3 engine. I have noticed a small accumlation of coolant on the engine just below and slightly to the right of the thermostat. It pools in the channel between the intake and the front valve cover.
Judging from the build-up gook it's been leaking and burning the coolant away for awhile. It's just to the right of the coolant bypass hose. I am assuming that it is leaking from the corner of the intake manifold (the lower manifold not the upper/intake manifold cover) Has anyone else had this type of problem and can you offer me any advice on pulling the intake?
I replaced a lower intake manifold gasket on a 96 bonneville not too long ago, that had similar symptoms. It was a multi-step time consuming job but not overly difficult..problem with those GM 3.8 engines was that the coolant could get into the engine and hydro-lock and or ruin the bearings. This van seems to be leaking externally ony...and It's not going through much coolant to speak of...but I assume it will get worse.
Any advice would be welcome.
