I imagin this is 1/24th scale?? One could only dream for a 1/12th scale version to go with the Tamiya Die Cast.

Looks awesome. I've been thinking about such kit when Tamiya came out with the CGT and I'd be interested in one when it is released.

You should be posting more updates, before competition closes in :P. Still remember the days of the SAS S2k and R34 parts... (Which I wouldn't mind getting my hands on now... :()
@Gio: Great work mate and what programs do you use for designing all your parts?

After some quiet but busy months finally this project arrived to the finish straight.
There are still some minor steps to be done but majority is finished. the only thing which have to be done is to finish the rear wheel and some small modification on the front wheel and desgin some instruction sheet.
Below picture shows the content of the transkit. Now it is really only 1-2 weeks till it will be available, so you can start saving some money :D

Hi,
parts look good so far, but how about the mesh? Must everybody cut out the mesh? No special etched parts for the openings?
Any idea about the price?

Hi,
There will be template included for the mesh, but yes, everybody will have to cut it. But it is from very soft alu sheet and can be bended easily even for the hood.
Price will be ca. 50-60 EUR.

Hi folks,
today I got my issue of the transkit from www.automobilminiaturen.de
No question, resin looks superb, no bubbles, (nearly) no cleaning necessary, they are really top-level!!
All other parts (lenses, decals, Mirage-letters) look great, too.
The transkit would be perfect IMO, if the etched parts would be cut to size and not a one piece etched mesh.
Nevertheless, I think its a must-have for the Porsche fans.
