Alrighty, Heres what I got. My LeBaron Convertable is a 1990 V6 3.0L runs like a cham ive been restoreing this bad boy to near mint condition, but in order for me to drive this thing around I need to pass inspection. Welp I cant do that if my miles arent counting. Everything else is great cept for a few ins and outs I got fix but im at a loss.
Ive replaced both VSS on my car, one was like a screw in plug the other was a prong based one that was shaped like a elongated diamond. Still nothing has worked, But my Digital Odom works fine. This engine was a junk yard swap, only has 40,000 Miles on it. The vehicle its self has 200,000 Miles on it. I currently have the Haynes Repair Manual and I cant find squat. Can someone please advise.

Do you have the digital dash cluster or just the digital "Trip Computer" under the radio? Anyway check all your fuses... with a test light if possible. You know it could very well be your engine computer...pick up one from a junkyard. Though, be careful with those computers. In a time when almost all the parts on Chrysler cars were interchangeable, they made so many different computers that it's not even funny. Try to pick up a computer from the same year, same engine, same type (sedan/coupe) LeBaron, if that's not possible, go for the same year, same engine, different Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth. Theres a major change in engine computers between 91 and 93, I forget exactly when (ie 91/92 or 92/93) but you get the point. The new and old computers look identical so...
Hope I helped! :D
