It looks good in the pic, and if yours turns out as good as that, it will be great. Give us some pics when you can.

i cant get any styrene in my area, and parents dont believe in using their credit cards on the WWW
the main structure of the kit is cut off palstic from a Mitsubishi GTO kit
the silver area in the pic is where i placed it on the kit, making the frame then i just started adding a lot of Red Putty im gonna have to wait to fiberglass it before i can sand it, if i dont, the whole thing will come off:(

Did you know you could get away with using old gift cards as a cheap source of styrene sheet?
So, since your parents don't want to use their credit cards to help you, use the credit cards as styrene sheet;)
Doesn't surprise me you gave up on the GTO, you did say it was a difficult kit.
Show us some more when you have shaped the front of the putty thing, right now I can't make out too much(and it ain't the camera).

You use fiberglass??? I would think that that would heat up and distort the plastic to much?? You should try using "Pro-weld" it bonds almost instantly and holds VERY well. I just can't believe all the people that use real body shop materials on their models, isn't that an absolute pain to to work with??? Putty, styrene and Pro-weld= all the tools you need for any body kit.
If you are patient, I am sure your front end will turn out nice.

If you are sanding fibreglass, be sure to wear a dust mask......or wetsand to keep the dust down......that is some dust you don't want in your lungs;-)
