1987 Dodge Dakota Engine Switch

:rolleyes: I am trying to change my Dakota 4 cyl to an 8 cyl. I've been on all kinds of websites and can't seem to figure this out. Is there a kit or something to make this change? I need help finding the proper custom motor mounts to do this.

Basically just find a V8 dakota in a junkyard and rip off the parts you need. Even finding a 96+ dakota would help because you'd only have the alter the existing mounts instead of fabricating from scratch.
The V6 mounts are pretty close to the V8 mounts as well, I am not sure if they are the same though.
