I recently replaced the fuel pump in my truck. Upon completion, the new pump would not work. In addition, I had no spark to the motor. I replaced the ECM/PCM and now the fuel pump will work and the motor will turn over and start with the help of fluid but with the help of a noid light, the injectors will not fire and there is no gas getting from the fuel rail to the engine.
Has anyone run into a problem like this??? I've checked the "crank position sensor" with a meter while turning the engine and there is a voltage change. I've also replaced the ASD and Fuel System relays.
I'M STUCK - PLEASE HELP
Thanks in advance
Dave

Check the fuses first then check that the relays thump you can feel this with your finger when somebody tries to start the engine.
Does this truck have an anti theft system this uses the body control module to shut power to the relay for the injectors. You definately will need a good manual for this.
http://www.alldata.com/ sells a one years subscription for $25.00 they have good electrical manuals.
Check the computer grounds and check for power to the relay for the injectors. You will need a one line electrical diagram to check the system out.
Remember $25.00 is a lot cheaper than the dealer.
