Actualy quite a few of us have american cars and know their potential.:)

Does anyone have any good '70 or '69 Chevelle pics at the drag strip? Good size good quality, preferebly smoking tires or lifting up the front end.

Thanks for clearing up the misunderstood part of the forum, I saw it was by Import thugs, and took it as an import racing site. Judging by all of the car knowledge posted already I see there's some real car nuts aboard here. Nice choices Octagon, the AMX is as fresh as new, over 200 cars showed in some blistering heat that day. I wish the poll had worked right I would like to see how everyone reacts to the quality and composition. ;)

its a pretty crazy site. i see alot of crazy wheelies. esp the one by the early 90's f body. and i also like that old school mustang. i'm not sure the exact year, it could be a 69? heh sorry i don't know exact stuff for domestics.

Well I have done drag racing now on two Continents. In the US I ran a 78 Camaro and in NZ Skylines.
It is all good, and honestly I don't understand all the fuss that both sides seem to have at times.

As has been mentioned most of us are enthusisasts and share a common interest be it American, Euro, or Jap made cars and trucks.

preach on RAZOR. i guess this is what makes this forums different then others. there are just soo many differnet types of car owners here taht we all learn to love each other's cars. and that is what makes us car enthusisasts.

I'm looking for a good pic of a 1969 SS or a 1970 SS doing burnouts, wheelies, etc. If anyone has one please post it.

I was trying to get a speed blur effect outta the shot cause the light was intense in the area. I do have a few places to get what you want. BBl

That'd be cool. This Diablo pic is starting to grow on me as well, its a great angle shot of one. Looks evil.

.... whats wrong with '72s? They're exactly the same as '71s... except the front turn signals.

The 71 has a chrome split in it, the 72s dont.

Exactly they do look a bit different. That split to me makes all the difference in looks. A giant black square in the middle of the car doesn't look appealing to me. I also liked the turn signals better on the 71.

Who cares though, the 71 isn't one of my favorite models either. 69 and 70 I like the most.

Yeah someone mentioned it to me on the viper forum, never really thought about it like that until then. Had this yellow Diablo SV I was looking at but the black just looked more wicked.
