can anyone tell me what will it take to put a 2.2 engine into my 2.4 sunfire 1997, is the transmission bellhouse the same or do i have to use the 2.2 transmission ?????? will the 2.2 engine wiring plug into the ecm if i us the correct ecm any other problems ??????

which 2.2 are you referring to? the older 2200 pushrod engine or the newer 2.2 ecotec?
