tps sensor question

Hi by process of elimination and my dummy light finally coming on I have narrowed my misfire/bogging/poor gas mileage down to my tps. I first checked autozone for one.... no luck. So I called honda and they said it needs to be bought with the throttle body.....and they wanted 750$ Deciding not to go with that I did some research. I found that the tps sensor can acually be removed but Honda uses the funky tamperproof screws.
So my problem is that I have been reading that MPFI AND DPFI have different tb and tps. The only place I can find a replacment is on ebay, and by my best judgment and reading the cars they "Fit" they will not work on DPFI and unfortunately that is what I have. Now some people say they can be interchanged and some do not.
Has anyone interchanged them?
Is it possible?
If its not possible, besides junkyards where would be a possible source?
Possibly someone who has done an engine swap or a injection swap has one laying around that they would be willing to part with
How hard are they to calibrate after installed?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated I am at a loss on what to do.
Thanks

Aight, here goes. If you can find a dpfi one then you can use that. Junkyards are a goldmine for dpfi civics (a curse really). You could also convert to mpfi and get a few extra ponies. Then youd be able to use any throttle body you wanted.
DPFI and MPFI look and are completely different, not only in the tps but the entire system is different. DPFI is basically throttle body injection (fuel injected carb)

thanks Frodo that is kind of what I expected to hear. As far as swapping to mpfi I really dont care about the ponies I just want my gas mileage back, I have quite a commute to school every morning. Aside from the Injectors and the Tps Is there anything else on the throttle body to where if i get a used one it could be bad?
Thanks

The eacv, etc etc but you have those parts.. Aside from those 3 there really arent many more parts on the intake.
