i saw turbo's mini concept dragster it's crazy as hell, just picture a mini with 26x8 M&H slick's with15x3.5 skinnies in the rear and the interior gutted with only one zeroRacing bucket seat to seat you and a crazy rollcage also MSD ignition box,battery relocation kit,window net,Auto Meter shift light and remote battery shut-off,ATL fuel cells,2 NX nitrous bottles in the rear, and finally a set Kw suspension coil-overs wow that's crazy for a small mini copper look's to me like it has some potential i mean Mini Mania (http://www.minimania.com/home.cfm) has a turbo for it which they showed off at sema bumping up hp figures from 115 to 200 just crank up the boost to 15 psi and you'll get 300 hp easily and 350 safely with NOS not bad for a mini cooper, eh.:silly2:

The Mini would be a good- car- EXTREMELY light- don't diss it until you have tried it..................They do mean the original Mini right??:confused:

The weight of the engine would kill the suspension. Then I would laugh my ass off.:D

My real innitials are HSP, and since I was oves weight in high school and used to sweat a lot everyone called me that, I guess the name just clinged to me.
Don't underestimate a smaller engine, even Civics are doing 600 hp, so 300hp is quite possible.

yes that's true anyway's this mini is also true, it's on of the new mini's primedia magazine "publishing" company gave to turbo,2NR,euro,etc.
350 on a mini with juice and a turbo isn't bad plus when you got a car that light as a feather you'll be flyin, LITERALLY!:D

I'm not saying that 300HP is not possible, I'm saying that a V-8 engine swap is not possible. I would love to see it happen.:cwn27:

Na, I love the new ones. I know ppl don't give them respect, but I think they are pretty cool at an afordable price. No matter were you go in one they will make heads turn.

I wonder if these mini's have been tested in salt lake speedway, they will probably top out at like 130 at the most but when it's tued, modified to the max with a aftermarket ecu you'll make up for evrything else, they would top out at 165 or so.

Mate a V8 mini is nothing new, my mechanic built a FWD 4.5lt turbo motor in his speedway car, and in europe it is a certified road car conversion. Theres also a 360 V8 mini on the drag scene here doing 8's.
