Changing spark plug wires

Could anyone please give some helpful tips on changing plug wires on a '97 Cav 2.2? They disappear down behind the engine and I cannot see where they attach to the coils from the top of the motor.

Must some components be removed for access?

Can the coils be accessed from under the car?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
